| The Waterman Model AC-31 is an aluminum canal gate. It is a superbly engineered gate expressly suitable for corrosion-resistant, rust resistant demands. It is of rugged, heavy duty construction, yet lightweight and easy to install. The aluminum gate eliminates electrolysis usually found in cast iron gate to aluminum pipe connections. This gate has minimal leakage, due to a tight closure.
This gate features a tapered slide, which provides wedge-type seating and low friction opening. The AC-31 also has a neoprene J-bulb seal, which provides a virtually leak-proof closure. |
