| Waterman distributors are a form of free surface turnout equipment designed to supply controllable constant flows. The flow is set to any required value by opening or closing the requisite combination of different-sized shutters. Once the distributor is locked at a given setting, the flow remains constant even though the upstream and downstream water levels may vary to some extent. This is accomplished without any moving parts. |
