Waterman Acquires Alabama Dynamics
New manufacturing facility expands capacity and capabilities
(Exeter, CA) Waterman Valve LLC, a McWane Company, has acquired Alabama Dynamics, an ISO 9001 certified manufacturer, fabricator and machining operation for large and complex metal products based in Calera, Alabama.
This acquisition significantly expands Waterman’s manufacturing capacity and capabilities. For over 40 years, Alabama Dynamics has built large and complex metal equipment for the steel, oil, mining, minerals processing and waterworks industries. Alabama Dynamics capabilities include: large and heavy machining; weldments of carbon, stainless and alloy steels; and indoor climate-controlled wet paint and specialty coating services.
The Alabama Dynamics facility will serve as an additional manufacturing center for Waterman’s cast iron and fabricated sluice gates, roller gates, level-control gates, radial gates, weirs and large rectangular butterfly valves. Added capabilities in the new facility will allow Waterman to offer larger dimensions and more complex gates, including those required for hydropower, water treatment, wastewater, flood control and other highly specialized environments.

Most importantly, they have a committed and motivated team of manufacturing experts who have proven experience with our types of products” said Olivier Marietta, General Manager of Waterman Valve LLC. “We are excited to have them join our team as we expand our capabilities and seek to serve clients in the Eastern United States better.”
